Close to the historic town of Castle Cary, it is only 14 miles from Glastonbury and Wells, and 45 minutes from the elegant city of Bath. There are many historic houses and gardens to visit, including Stourhead, Lytes Cary and Montacute.

The south coast is only an hour's drive away with unspoilt sandy beaches. There is a village shop and P.O., Church and Pub within a short walking distance. The Pub serves Bar Meals and has a separate restaurant.

The owners delight in welcoming visitors from overseas and across the United Kingdom. The cottage offers a haven of peace for relaxation and an excellent centre from which to explore the attractions of the West Country.
